Swampscott Arts Association is proud to open its first exhibition at the Clarke School in Swampscott in conjunction with the Swampscott Recreation Department.

The exhibit will run from October 1st to November 18th.

Judge’s Awards for the exhibit were awarded to Martin Levine in Photography for “17 Million Dollar Painting”, Barbara Naeser in Fine Art for Blossom and Gretchen Wollercheid for Wild Harmony

It is with the deepest sadness that the SAA announces the passing of our dearly beloved friend and member Ruth Rooks.

Ruth was a long standing member of the Swampscott Arts Association and had been the Association's President for many years. She was very active in several Northshore Art Associations and Civic Groups.

She was creative and philanthropic person who will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
